Warranty coverage by product family
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, and conformity with the specifications issued for your order. The table shows what that means in practice for each product family.
| Product family | Covered | Common non-warranty causes | Usual resolution |
|---|---|---|---|
| ELRS receivers (BKR series) | Board, radio or firmware-loading defects; failed telemetry or RF output | Ripped IPEX connector pad, wrong input voltage, crushed board | Remote check first, then replacement |
| ELRS TX modules and adapter (BKT series) | Output, band switching, cooling fan and module-bay interface defects | Operation without antenna, over-voltage, drop damage | Repair or replacement |
| Flight controller and ESC (BKF, BKE) | Sensor, OSD, BEC, UART and MOSFET defects present at delivery or in normal use | Reverse polarity, shorted pads, burnt MOSFETs after prop strikes | Diagnosis, then replacement |
| DVR and video receiver (BKD, BKVR) | Recording, input, display and button defects | Wrong supply voltage, water damage | Replacement |
| Motors (BKM series) | Winding, magnet and bearing defects | Bent shafts and bearing damage from crashes | Replacement |
| Frames, combos and accessories | Material and manufacturing defects on delivery | Crash breakage and normal wear | Spare arms and parts supplied at cost |
| Antennas (BKA series) | Connector and element defects on delivery | Cut or crushed cables | Replacement |
| Drone soccer balls (BKZ0100, BKZ0101) | Flight controller, receiver, motor and electronics defects | Broken cages and shells from collisions, wear parts | Electronics replaced; shells supplied as spares |
| Batteries, remotes, chargers, backpacks | Defects on arrival and in normal use | Over-discharge, swollen or punctured packs, incorrect storage | Replacement after photo or video check |
The period is stated in your quotation or proforma invoice. If none is stated, it is 12 months from the delivery date. Report defects within the warranty period and within 30 days of discovering them. Full terms are in our Warranty Policy and Terms of Service.

How the RMA process works
- 01Contact us
email sales@dronepartsfactory.com, use the After-Sales Service form, or message your sales contact on WhatsApp or WeChat.
- 02Share the details
order number, SKU, quantity, firmware version, your setup (radio, flight controller, battery) and photos or a short video of the problem.
- 03Remote diagnosis
our engineers check settings, wiring and firmware with you. Many cases are solved here without a return.
- 04RMA decision
if a return or replacement is needed, we issue an RMA number and instructions. Low-value items can be settled without a return.
- 05Return shipment
pack the goods safely and mark the RMA number on the carton and documents. Batteries need special handling (see below).
- 06Inspection
we test the product and send you the result.
- 07Resolution
repair, replacement, credit or refund, as described in our Return & Refund Policy.

Technical support before and after purchase
Many reported faults are settings rather than hardware. Our technical team supports you before purchase, during setup and after delivery, so products stay in service instead of travelling back and forth.
| Symptom | Frequent cause | What we check with you |
|---|---|---|
| ELRS receiver will not connect | Different binding phrase, major firmware version, band or regulatory domain | LED pattern, versions, domain, TX band |
| No channels in Betaflight | Receiver on the wrong UART or protocol | Wiring TX→RX, Serial RX setting, CRSF |
| Drone will not arm | Arming flags, throttle, arm switch or failsafe | Betaflight status output |
| Motor spins the wrong way | ESC direction setting | AM32 or Betaflight motor direction |
| Short drone soccer flight time | Worn or incorrectly stored batteries, damaged props | Battery age, storage voltage, props |
| Drone soccer ball drifts | Calibration or bent prop and cage parts | Accelerometer calibration, props, cage alignment |

Options for distributors and OEM brands
Resellers and brand owners support their own customers, so we give them tools that keep after-sales simple and inexpensive.
| Option | Standard buyer | Distributor | OEM / private-label brand |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warranty period | As quoted, 12 months by default | As agreed in the distribution terms | As agreed in the supply agreement |
| Claim handling | Individual RMA | Consolidated batch RMA | Batch RMA with your SKU and batch references |
| Defect allowance | — | Optional free units or credit per order | Optional |
| First-level support | By us | By the distributor, with our second-level support | By the brand, with our second-level support |
| Documentation | BAYCKRC datasheets and guides | Media pack, datasheets, setup guides | Datasheets and quick-start guides under your brand |
| Training | Guides on request | Product and troubleshooting training | Training for your support team |
| Spare parts | Order as needed | Recommended stock list | Recommended stock list for your models |
Defect allowance. Instead of shipping single units back, an agreed small percentage of free replacement units or credit can be included with each order to cover field failures. Only failures above the allowance go through the RMA process.
Batch RMA. Distributors collect claims from their customers and send one consolidated claim with photos, videos and serial or batch references. We settle confirmed defects by replacement in the next order or by credit note.
Branded products. For OEM products we accept claims for manufacturing defects in the same way as for BAYCKRC products. Artwork, text or specification errors in approved designs are not warranty defects.
After-sales for schools and drone soccer clubs
Drone soccer programs need hardware that keeps flying through a school term or a tournament season. Because we develop and manufacture our own drone soccer balls and run drone soccer events, we support education and club customers beyond the warranty itself.
- Spare parts plans. We recommend spare shells, colour kits, propellers, batteries and receivers per term, based on class size and training hours.
- Teacher and coach briefing. Setup, flight modes, charging rules, battery storage and simple field repairs.
- Battery safety guidance. Charging with the supplied USB or B4AC charger, storage voltage, fire-safe bags and safe disposal of damaged packs.
- Competition support. Advice on spares and chargers for tournament days, and event support from our drone soccer event operations team.
| Spare part | FB200S 2S | FB205L 4S |

See Drone Soccer Replacement Parts and Schools & Training Organizations.

Firmware and long-term product support
Our radio and flight products use open-source firmware such as ExpressLRS, Betaflight, INAV and AM32, so they keep benefiting from community updates. We publish the firmware target for each product and help customers update safely.
- Regulatory domain changes. Receivers ordered with the wrong domain (for example FCC instead of EU) can usually be reflashed instead of returned.
- Pre-flashing for fleets. OEM brands, schools and clubs can order receivers pre-flashed with their domain and binding phrase.
- Revision notices. When a hardware revision changes pinouts, connectors or settings, we inform distributors so their stock and documents stay correct.
- Spare-part continuity. We aim to keep spare parts for current models available and will advise on compatible replacements when a model is updated.
Quality feedback and continuous improvement
Every confirmed defect is recorded by product and batch. We look for patterns, find the root cause and take corrective action in design, production, testing or packaging. Distributors and OEM partners receive a summary when a finding affects their products.
Before shipment, products are tested according to their family: firmware version and RF link checks for radio products, function tests for flight controllers and ESCs, spin checks for motors and flight checks for drone soccer balls. See Testing & Inspection and Quality Control.

What the warranty does not cover
- Crash, impact, water or fire damage
- Wrong wiring, reverse polarity, over-voltage or use outside the specifications
- Modification, unauthorised repair, or firmware not supplied or approved by us
- Wear parts: propellers, protective shells, straps, connectors and cables
- Batteries that were over-discharged, overcharged, punctured, swollen through misuse or stored incorrectly
- Normal wear, cosmetic marks, and transport damage after risk passed to the buyer
For non-warranty cases we can quote paid repairs where practical, or supply spare parts so your team or your customers can repair products locally.
Shipping for warranty cases
- Replacements: for confirmed manufacturing defects we pay to ship repaired or replacement products to you.
- Returns: the buyer pays to send defective products to us, unless we agree otherwise. Distributors can avoid most return shipping through batch RMA or a defect allowance.
- Wrong items shipped by us: we pay shipping both ways.
- Lithium batteries: never return batteries without contacting us first. They must travel as dangerous goods, and swollen or damaged batteries must not be shipped by air. We usually settle battery claims from photos or video and advise on safe local disposal.
- Customs: declare returns as "returned goods for repair or replacement" at their true value. See our Shipping Policy.
Frequently asked questions
Warranty & after-sales FAQ
How long is the warranty on BAYCKRC products?
The warranty period is the one stated in your quotation or proforma invoice. If none is stated, it is 12 months from the delivery date and covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
How do I start a warranty claim or RMA?
Email sales@dronepartsfactory.com or use the After-Sales Service form with the order number, SKU, quantity, firmware version, photos or video and a short description. We normally reply within 2 working days and issue an RMA number if a return is needed.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Crash, impact, water and fire damage; wrong wiring, reverse polarity and over-voltage; modification or unapproved firmware; wear parts such as propellers, shells, straps and connectors; misused or incorrectly stored batteries; and normal wear. We can quote paid repairs or spare parts for these cases.
Who pays shipping for warranty returns?
For confirmed manufacturing defects we pay to ship the repaired or replacement product to you, and the buyer pays to send the defective product to us unless we agree otherwise. Wrong items shipped by us are exchanged at our cost both ways.
Do distributors have to return every defective unit?
No. Distributors can use batch RMA claims or an agreed defect allowance, where a small percentage of free replacement units or credit is included with each order, so single low-value units do not need to be shipped back.
Can you support schools and drone soccer clubs after delivery?
Yes. We supply spare shells, colour kits, propellers, batteries, receivers, ET08 remotes and B4AC chargers, give teachers a setup and battery-safety briefing, and can support tournaments through our drone soccer event operations team.
Do ELRS receivers need to be sent back if they do not connect?
Usually not. Most connection problems come from a different binding phrase, major firmware version, band or regulatory domain between transmitter and receiver. Our technical team normally solves these remotely before any RMA is issued.
How long do inspections and refunds take?
We normally inspect returned goods within 10 working days of arrival and process approved refunds within 10 working days after approval. Refunds are paid by bank transfer to the account that made the original payment.
